Fort Valley State University will host its 39th Annual Scholarship Luncheon (formerly known as the FVSU Black History Month Scholarship Luncheon) on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Noon (EST), with doors opening at 11 a.m. Sponsored by the FVSU Foundation, Inc., the FVSU Scholarship Luncheon is the university’s premier fundraiser. The FVSU NAA, Inc. Dekalb County Alumni Chapter presents its 13th Annual Scholarship Jazz Brunch. The event will be on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10 AM-1 PM at the Henry County Heritage Park Community Center, 101 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, GA. Tickets are $75. Join us for a morning of jazz and Wildcat fellowship to support students attending Fort Valley State University.

Join Fort Valley State University in 2025 as the University celebrates 130 years of academic excellence.  As a part of the celebrations, the Fort Valley State University West Georgia Alumni Chapter (LaGrange) will host a scholarship banquet to raise and provide scholarship dollars to deserving scholars on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 3:00pm at Del’Avant on Main Street in downtown LaGrange, Georgia. Tickets are $85 and $600 for a Table of 8. The HBCU Alumni Alliance Annual 5KRun/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Piedmont Park, Atlanta, Georgia. The event is a day filled with more partnerships, scholarships, activations and the largest HBCU alumni and D9 gathering in the country. Registration is $40 and will increase to $45 as the race gets closer to its date. If you don’t wish to register for the race, please make a donation to those FVSU local chapters. Portions of your race will go towards the local FVSU Atlanta & Dekalb County Alumni Chapters scholarships.
