The Legacy Walk is one of the most cherished traditions of Fort Valley State University Homecoming—a celebration where Wildcats from every generation return home to honor the past, reconnect with classmates, and inspire those who follow.
This special-edition Legacy Walk shirt was created to recognize the decades that helped build the FVSU legacy. Whether you graduated in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, or 20s, your decade is prominently featured, allowing you to proudly represent your place in Wildcat history.

Alumni Business Directory
The Fort Valley State University Alumni Business Directory is a signature alumni engagement and economic empowerment initiative designed to spotlight Wildcat-owned businesses while creating meaningful visibility, connection, and opportunity leading into Homecoming 2026. This initiative serves as both a digital and promotional platform that celebrates entrepreneurship, strengthens alumni engagement, and creates long-term value for the Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association community. The official unveiling of the directory will take place during Homecoming Week on October 22, 2026, alongside business recognition opportunities and awards presentations.

Homecoming Golf Tournament
The Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association Incorporated will be hosting its annual Homecoming Scholarship Golf Tournament in Fall 2026. The event will be Friday, October 23rd at the Southern Hills Country Club.
Last year’s fundraising event raised over $30,000 and saw record participation from golfers. For 2026, our goal is to exceed $50,000 in proceeds. These funds will go toward providing college scholarships for deserving students and supporting the University’s goals for the upcoming academic year. In 2025, the FVSU NAA, Inc. awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships.
Spades Tournament
Before the next class started on the other side of the campus, you knew exactly where to find the best competition! The Student Center was filled with laughter, friendly trash talk, the best fried chicken wings, unforgettable partners, and legendary Spades battles. Some games lasted longer than the class break—and nobody wanted to leave the table!

Life Member Induction Ceremony
The Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association Incorporated will have its Life Member Induction Ceremony on Friday, October 23rd at 5PM. The location is to be determined. The deadline for full payment to participate in the ceremony is October 1st.
Host Hotel
On behalf of the Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Incorporated, welcome to Homecoming Weekend and welcome to our host hotel. It is truly a joy to see alumni, friends, supporters, and members of Wildcat Nation gathered together once again.
