MARIO & TENECIA HALL

How They Met: We met through a mutual friend, Dominique. Mario asked Tenecia on a date while Tenecia was on the phone with them and the rest is history. We took freshman Biology together which is where he said he first noticed me.

Their Time at FVSC/FVSU: We both had greek affiliations and mutual friends so hanging out was natural. Mario's family is from Fort Valley so while attending I got a chance to be welcomed into their family.

Post-graduation Journey: We started dating in 2010. Tenecia graduated and went to dental school while Mario finished his degree. We were long distance while Tenecia matriculated in dental school and Mario got his master's degree. We married on 12/13/14 and have been married for 11 years with 3 beautiful kids.

Advice for Current Students: We would encourage students to realize that college is a great time to make love connections because once life starts it gets busy and it's hard to date at that time from what I've seen.
